Thank you for visiting my website. I am seeking your support to represent the people of Glasgow Central as their MP. After 13 years of a Labour government we know there is no difference between them and the Tories. They are bankrupt morally and have bankrupted us all financially with their policies.

Tumultuous times lie ahead in the next few years. Labour will spend it fighting amongst themselves whether they win or lose. If elected, I will represent you in concentrating on dealing with the economic, environmental and human rights crises facing us.

1. Financial crisis

During these economic times it is vital that we protect public spending. It was this that led the recovery after the Great Depression in the 1930s and the same is needed now. Also, a new financial architecture has to be created to prevent this financial meltdown happening again.

2. Climate catastrophe

Investment has to go into the green industries, producing the triple whammy of jobs, energy and tackling climate change. Scotland has hit the natural lottery a second time, with one quarter of Europe’s wind. Action is needed to tap into this.

3. Life and Liberty

Labour declared war on Iraq. They also declared war on our liberties. They left the war on poverty though. The money they want to waste on ID cards and nuclear weapons on the Clyde should be better spent.

Only SNP MPs will stand up for Glasgow and stand up for Scotland.

We have a great chance of winning. We were only 136 votes behind Labour in the Glasgow Central boundaries at last year's European elections, by far the closest we've ever been here in an all-UK election. This was even tighter than the 1,500 votes we were away in 2007. With your help, I am ready to serve you.
